New Mexico Tax Filing Requirements
A resident, non resident or a part year resident must file a New Mexico return if they have to file a federal return and have income from any New Mexico source. Also they must file return to claim a refund, or any credits.
You must file a Tax Return, if your income exceeds the limit for the filing status.
